organization that focuses on repairing electronic appliances to give them a
second life!

Through the workshop, you will gain valuable maintenance skills, and the
repaired items will be donated to communities in need. After attending the
workshop, you can support HER at their future service
opportunities to further train-up your repair abilities, and serve the wider
community!

This workshop is co-organized by HKUST Connect and the HKUST Impact

In this workshop, you will receive your Lumina Spark Portrait based on an in-depth questionnaire and explore how to use it to increase self-awareness, find your potential, and cope better under pressure.

《觀想香港: 四種島嶼山水的墨．色想像》的三位參展畫家—陳鈞樂、沈君怡和邱榮豐—將在講座中分享他們創作展品的經驗。這三位畫家均在香港出生和成長，並畢業於大學藝術科系，接受了全面且系統的中西繪畫史和繪畫技法的訓練。他們運用了源自中國傳統繪畫的多種技法作為創作媒介，並創造出鮮明的個人風格和獨特的當代視角。畫家們將討論他們的作品與自然山水之間的互動，以及水墨傳統與現代之間的對話。

The three participating artists in “Imagining Hong Kong: Four Visions of Island Landscape in Ink and Color”—Chan Kwan Lok, Sim Shum Kwan-yi, and Ross Yau Wing Fung—will share their experiences in creating works for the exhibition. All three artists were born and raised in Hong Kong and graduated from university art programs, where they received comprehensive training in both Eastern and Western art history and painting techniques. They have employed various techniques derived from traditional Chinese painting as their medium, creating distinct personal styles and unique contemporary perspectives. The artists will discuss how their works interact with the natural landscapes and explore the dialogue between traditional ink painting and modernity.
